The human eye is the most complex camera ever made.

Though the human eye is indeed very complex it is not necessarily that much better optically than that of the animals. Where the human comes out as superior is in his ability to interpret and use the information he gets through his eyes. A dog, for instance, may be able to focus as well as a man--it just cannot judge and determine what it sees as a man would.
